Why we picked it
A trick-shot course you set up and re-set up: ramps, rebounders, rings, a tunnel and a magnetic target, with a finger-pull launcher that fires small magnetic pods. Children arrange the pieces, try to land the shot, then follow the fifteen included challenges or invent their own. It is a physics toy pretending to be a skill game, which is the right way round for a six-year-old.
Why it made our list: it rewards patience and small adjustments, it is fun for two, and it was a 2026 Toy of the Year finalist in the specialty category.
Before you buy: the age grade is 6 and up. It contains magnets; keep the magnetic pods away from younger siblings. It is a recent release, so there are fewer long-term reviews than for older toys.
