Why we picked it
The card game most families already know, turned into a board game. It is a race to the finish with action cards that shove other players back, and a pop-up board that flips halfway through to reveal a new path where the rules get meaner. Games are short and loud.
Why it made our list: seven- and eight-year-olds can play it without help, it is genuinely fun for the adults, and the Toy Association named it 2026 Toy of the Year in the game category.
Before you buy: the listed age is 7 and up, for two to six players, about twenty minutes a game. It is a separate product from the card game and from the "Party Pack"; check that the listing says "The Board Game".
